SUMMER can be even “sunnier” with a few Jack-and-the-Beanstalk-like sunflowers reaching for the sky in your backyard.
A free packet of six of these super seeds is being offered by Our Wisconsin magazine, with the aim of luring customer traffic to the Village Center of historic downtown Greendale.
If enough green thumbers take advantage of this offer, the huge blossoms of these giant plants will wave throughout the area later this summer, adding color and gardening fun to south side suburbs.

These Are No Normal Sunflowers
These super seeds will produce plants up to 15 feet tall…and the blossoms will be the size of dinner plates. See their amazing height and size of the leaves in the photo below.
The seeds are from an heirloom called “Russian Mammoth”. Their stalks are so thick and sturdy, no stakes are needed to keep these huge plants standing straight.
Growing tips are provided with each packet. The seeds can be planted in a garden plot or in large planters.
Additional sunflower seeds can be purchased if you have enough space to plant a row of these Paul Bunyan beauties along a fence, or as a colorful background. (They might also be a great gift for “little gardeners.)
Giant Pumpkins and Tomatoes, too
You can also purchase seeds from Giant pumpkins that weighed 1,000 pounds or more…and seeds from Giant tomatoes that weighed 4 pounds or more! We’re a one-stop Giant Seed Source.
Growing a few of these WHOPPERS can add some summer fun for you and your family (and likely your neighbors, too!). Pick up a packet of free GIANT sunflower seed…and watch ’em grow 15 feet high!
